What is rendering?
Rendering (lit. “graphic rendering”) is the process that allows obtaining a realistic representation of an architectural project starting from a 3D model.
What does it mean to render? The term rendering or photorealistic rendering (or rendering, or more simply rendering) defines the process that allows to obtain, starting from a three-dimensional model elaborated on a computer, a very realistic artificial image.
More specifically, it is a computer-processed image following three-dimensional modeling based on project data; the geometric model created is covered with colors that are completely identical to the real materials (textures) and illuminated by light sources that reproduce natural or artificial ones.
